Dear Parish Family,
Christ is Risen! Alleluia! He is truly Risen! Alleluia!
After walking together through the Sacred Paschal Triduum—from the Upper Room, to the Cross, and now to the empty tomb—we arrive at this joyful truth: Jesus Christ is alive. Death has been conquered. Sin has been defeated. And something new has begun.
But Easter is not simply something that happened long ago. It is something that is happening now.
In the Resurrection, we see not only that Jesus has risen, but that He desires to raise us up as well. He breathes new life into His Church. He sends forth His Holy Spirit to awaken hearts, strengthen faith, and call each of us deeper into relationship with Him.
Throughout this Easter season, we will be praying together for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit—a new Pentecost in our parish. This is not just a prayer for “someone else.” It is a prayer for you. For your life. For your family. For your faith.
The same Spirit who anointed Jesus, who raised Him from the dead, is alive and at work in us today. He is calling us:
- to renewed faith,
- to deeper prayer,
- to greater love,
- and to become more fully alive as members of Christ’s Body, the Church.
Easter is an invitation. An invitation to step out of what is old and into what is new. An invitation to let the Lord do something real in your life—not someday, but now.
So I encourage you this Easter season:
Take a moment each day to pause and invite the Holy Spirit into your life. Ask Him to renew your heart. Ask Him to strengthen your faith. Ask Him to guide your steps.
Because the tomb is empty—and that changes everything.
Be assured of my prayers for you and your families during this sacred season.
Peace in the Risen Christ,
Fr. Andy
